What should I do if the other party flees the scene?
- Report immediately:
Call 911 or the local police station to obtain a Police Report Number. - Contact insurance company:
Provide the police report number to your insurance company when filing a claim.
In this situation, if you have Collision coverage, you can typically get a claim (may need to pay the deductible).
