How does filing a claim affect next year's premium?
Impact from smallest to largest:
- No accidents during the year.
- One accident but you were not at fault.
- One accident and you were at fault.
- Two or more accidents within one year.
If you have two at-fault accidents within one year, the insurance company will very likely refuse to renew your policy, which will seriously affect your credit record and future insurance applications.
