Special Situations and Common Questions
In what situations will insurance companies refuse to pay claims?
Mainly involving fraudulent behavior:
- Falsified policy: Providing false insurance application information.
- Falsified license: Using invalid or forged driver's licenses.
- False reporting: Lying about accident details, damage conditions, etc., when filing claims.
If an adjuster discovers fraud during the claims process, they will directly cancel the policy and deny the claim.
This is general information only and does not constitute insurance advice. Your policy wording and a licensed broker's confirmation prevail.
